Community Gardens for Food and Social Interaction

Whether for beauty of food or ideally both a wonderful array of gardens populated our Ward. It is an amazing testimony to the hard word of neighbours everywhere like on Berkeley Street where a new garden was added last week on the grounds of Lord Dufferin School.

I want to help our Ward be more self sufficient in food helping to address poverty and social isolation for Seniors and others.
Our rich diversity means we can grow and harvest crops to sustain us through different growing seasons.
The Riverdale Farm in Cabbagetown can be another resource to remind us that growing more is right at our fingertips.
